Hugh O’Beirne is an experienced, public company executive officer, business consultant, attorney and cannabis industry participant. Hugh previously served as a regional executive for 4Front Ventures Corp., where he focused on 4Front’s strategic matters in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Hugh also collaborates with federal, state and local public stakeholders on rule making and cannabis policy development through his role as Director of Policy for the not-for-profit, Cannabis Advisory Group, and has previously served as the president of the New Jersey Cannabis Industry Association. Hugh is an independent director of Viridescent Realty Trust, a mortgage REIT that focuses on providing mortgage financing to the cannabis industry.
Through his policy advocacy, Hugh works to effect legal and regulatory developments with various state regulators, legislators, governors, municipalities and universities in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York and South Carolina.
